#WildAndWickedWednesday: Author @ElodieParkes Takes Over Taboo's Center Stage #eroticromance #vampire

Welcome to The House of Taboo! I'm Luscious Lia, the owner of this establishment and your host for today's festivities. Actually, I'm going to sit back with my partner, Tony here at the bar while my good friend author Elodie Parkes takes over our Center Stage. The characters from her new release from Evernight are here with her and have agreed to an interview.

Tony honey, how about another pitcher of those pomegranate 'ritas. Looks like we have a few more folks straggling in. Take your seats and let's get this party started! Cue the spotlight!

Thank you, Lia for that fabulous introduction, and THANK YOU, Tony for the to die for 'ritas!  What do you think folks? Doesn't he make magic with the tequila? (the crowd erupts into cheers and whistles) Don't worry, he'll keep them coming. I swear the man is a machine behind that bar.

Well, now that we're all a bit toasted from the liquor how about you help me welcome  Daisy and Dhruv from A Little Mysterious just released from Evernight Publishing.

Daisy, we’ll start with you. Tell us about yourself and the book you star in.

The book is titled, A Little Mysterious. It’s an erotic paranormal romance, it’s contemporary, and set in an English town. I get to have lots of yummy sex with someone who arrives where I work. Not straight away of course, but soon…he’s just so deliciously gorgeous and sexy. I want him the minute I set eyes on him. That could be destiny at work I guess. I’m in my early twenties. I work in a cafĂ© at the time you meet me. I’m just an ordinary girl. As usual like lots of women, I don’t like my figure…especially my hips and thighs…
What? You’re lovely. Don’t you think? (He looks to Elodie for help. She nods as he's looking a bit dangerous at the moment and she doesn't want him to abruptly end the interview.) Readers, she’s pretty, intelligent, creative, sexy. You girls need to ease up on this figure stuff, men like to hold onto a curvy woman.

(Daisy leans over and kisses Dhruv) You love me so you’re biased.

(Dhruv grabs a handful of her hair and kisses her hard) Damn right, I love you.

Will we read anything else with you two starring in there?

No, I don’t think so, although I wouldn’t mind a follow up story about my life now. I can’t say why as that might be a spoiler. I know Dhruv said that too in an interview recently.

So why is that, can you say without it being a spoiler?

Things change dramatically. We move house. I find a couple of my friends…

Tell the readers, and we won’t say anything, to her, what do you think of the author? (Just so you all know, Daisy and Dhruv don't know the person interviewing them is actually Elodie! They've never met her in person. *snicker*)

She’s great. I guess she’ll be reading this interview, but I wouldn’t lie. She wrote our story the way we told her and it reflects the sheer sexual need I feel for Dhruv. I think she captured him exactly, alpha with a hidden soft spot.
Alpha? That’s just what I am coming out, and let’s not forget I’ve been around a long time too.

If you get the chance to have the author change your names, what would they be?

I wouldn’t like that. My name’s Dhruv. Why would she change it? Daisy is a lovely name (He pulls Daisy into his lap. She cuddles up to him and makes Elodie a bit uncomfortable. She looks to Lia and Tony who lift their drinks to her in salute.)
I actually like my name. It’s unusual. I don’t think many girls are called Daisy now. It’s ‘Gatsbyish’.

Dhruv, give up three of your deepest, darkest secrets.

(He stops tracing up and down Daisy's arm and stares at Elodie with a mildly amused expression.) You’re kidding. Why would I do that? They’re secrets and anyway it could be dangerous to tell you much about me. You do know what I am?
(I’m nodding again. His ice-blue eyes are boring into me now. Are his nails lengthening? Yikes, I’ll ask Daisy.) Okay so Daisy, how about you? Any secrets you want to share?
Not likely. Oh, okay. I’ve recently found out how great skinny-dipping is. I still eat way too much chocolate. I’m a coffee addict…I still drink it almost nonstop, but then doesn’t everybody? All the authors I know do, well, except my author, she drinks tea, and Dhruv, he drinks…

(Dhruv puts his hand over her mouth, kisses her ear, and whispers something to her. There you go they do have secrets after all. On to the next question.) Daisy, what do you love best about yourself?
My hair if it’s a physical thing, and if not, then my compassionate nature.

What do you like least?

I’d rather not say. (She glances at Dhruv's face and points to her ass.)

What about you, Dhruv?

I’m happy enough as I am. I’ve had a long time to get used to it.

How do you feel about the book you’re in?

It’s sexy. It’s a love story, our love story. There’s a twinge of sadness in there to begin with when you hear Dhruv’s back story, but he doesn’t dwell on it.

Can you share one of your favorite parts of the book without giving too much away and tell us why you chose it?

Okay, it has to be a love scene for me. What about you, Dhruv?
Definitely.

He traced his fingers down her cheek and over the love bite on her neck, and the sensation was electrifying. He devastated her with a kiss that was even better than the night before. Her whole body felt heavy with a sexual languor. She felt wetness between her legs. Her breasts ached for his touch. Her nipples were hard against her sheer lace bra. Daisy put her arms up around Dhruv’s neck, molding her body to his. He circled her waist and crushed her to him. The action brought her stomach against his cock and she felt the column hard and thick, enticing her. His kisses had driven her to the brink of desperation. She pressed against him to keep the feeling of his cock on her.

He moved his hands down her hips, and held her under her bottom on the tops of her thighs. He kneaded there as he stopped kissing her to nibble down her throat. It left a trail of delicious shivers down her neck. Another surge of liquid in her pussy made her panties sticky. She arched her neck to have more of his sucking along her shoulder. He drew back from her and Daisy followed him. She put her face up for another kiss. Her need for it made her moan softly.

I chose it because it’s hot.
Thank you for choosing it, Daisy, makes me want to take you home to bed. (He nuzzles her neck.)

Let’s say they make a movie about this book. Who do you want to play you, and why?
I’d rather they didn’t because we can’t be exposed now can we?

Anything else you’d like to tell us?
It’s been fun being here. Thank you so much and I hope that you enjoy reading our story.
(Elodie smiles. Dhruv nods his goodbye as he stood up, with Daisy in his arms. Before the crowd had a chance to react, they were off.)

Elodie! Your characters love to make the fast exits now don't they?
(she gulps down half her drink at once) Oh you don't know the half of it!
How about we get a look at that gorgeous cover of yours?
Excellent idea, Lia!

He’d been sent off course…he thought he was lost…until he found Daisy.

His vampire abilities were special. He belonged to an elite group. Moving home, they are set off course by a storm that lands Dhruv alone, hungry, and desperate in a strange town.
A story of lust, love, and coincidence.
